Award-winning and tested

Each SKINCOM SOLARTENT offers the sun protection factor 60+ according to UV Standard 801. All SKINCOM sunshades are tested and certified annually by the Swiss TESTEX Institute in Zurich.

The SKINCOM SOLARTENT EASY (a red tent) was the only beach sun tent to achieve the best test mark of “Excellent” from ÖKOTEST and was thus top of the class.

Please note: all Skincom SOLARTENTS, independent of type and colour, have the same extraordinarily high UV protection factor as the EASY solartent.

The Skin Cancer Foundation’s Seal of Recommendation is granted to sun protection products that have been reviewed by and meet the stringent criteria of a volunteer Photobiology Committee.  The Seal is a symbol of safe and effective sun protection that is recognized by consumers worldwide.

One of the first programs offered by the Foundation, it quickly gained acceptance from consumers for setting the standard for effective sun protection with sunscreen products, sunglasses, specially treated auto and residential window film, umbrellas, clothing and laundry products that wash UV protection into clothing.

The SKINCOM SOLARTENTS have won the Plus X Award in the “High Quality” category. The Plus X Award honours  manufacturers for the advanced quality of their products and awards future-oriented products.

The Skincom SOLARTENT EASY for TWO has been nominated for the German National Design Award. This prize is the highest official German design award for outstanding achievement, among other achievements, in the category product design. Only those industrial products could participate in the competition that had already proven their market capabilities.
